Belfast

Hi guys,

Got back last night from Belfast, it was a bit of a trek I have to say, Adrian drove there and back, the 11 hours total. I'd say he won't be getting much work done today!

Belfast was great - sorry Mermaid, I know you want to go! We stayed in a really nice B&B, Pearl Court, and the nightclub we went to, The Stiff Kitten, was really chic. And Ben Watt (you can listen to his radio show at this link) - well he was just AMAZING! Another guy, Alan Simms was playing first, he was also quite good, but nothing compared to Ben Watt! Me & Ad danced from the moment we got in there at 10 'till the moment it closed at 3.15. The guys is such a genius.

We went to W5 at the Odessey - an interactive museum with such great exhibits, we stayed for 5 hours I think, making robots, doing a lie detector, playing with forces, and lights, and sounds. Really great for kids, but we probably enjoyed it more!

On Sunday we went to Falls Road and Shankill Road. If it wasn't for Adrian I would have avoided both areas, I've heard of them but never really knew the details. Its so crazy that they are divided by a wall. You have to see it to believe it.

It was a great trip, just to see the North, that its SO different from here, its like stepping into the UK, the way the houses are structured, planned and built, the way the roads are designed, the way they drive, the fact there's no one out in the evenings, its quite a culture shock!

There are some lovely clubs and bars there, will defo go back again. They love their house music.

Hope you like the edited map lo, can't believe I've never even been there! Anyone else want to be seen on my map, just send me your address!

Have a good week!
Love ell xxx

Catch up

Ok, finally, finally, halleluyah! Got broadband in our little apartment!!

First, I want to thank everyone who donated to Jessica!!

We went to Dublin for the run, and she finished in 68 minutes so was really pleased. She's gonna walk to Santiago de Compostela during the summer, and will still be receiving donations for that if anyone else is interested in contributing.

So now I'm gonna upload some photos for ye all...

Adrian and I decided to do something to contribute to the environment, and try to make our walkways a little nicer to walk on, so we participated in the National Spring Clean program, organised by the government for the month of April. We picked a date, and the government sent us bags, and we went cleaning. We collected 12 bags of rubbish:

And look at the difference we made!:

Hope you all are well, and enjoy the updated page,
Lots of love and light and peace and joy and energy!
